for leaders

After critical events, employees look to leadership for structure and care. LifeHelpTeam helps:

  • Deploy visible, structured support quickly

  • Reduce stigma around seeking help

  • Protect morale, readiness, and long-term retention

Benefits for Employees: G-TEP & ART

Faster relief from post-traumatic stress.

  • G-TEP (group EMDR): Randomized and field studies show meaningful reductions in post-trauma symptoms (intrusions, anxiety/depression) and prevention of chronic PTSD when delivered soon after the event, including RCTs in mass-trauma contexts and refugee populations.

  • ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy): A randomized controlled trial in U.S. service members/veterans found rapid PTSD symptom improvement in 3–5 sessions, with high completion and durable gains; additional analyses show concurrent reduction in trauma-related pain.

Private processing with peer support.

G-TEP allows each participant to process memories privately through worksheets/self-bilateral stimulation, while also sharing strengths, coping skills, and hope in a supportive group, an approach validated in early-intervention EMDR trials.

Works in-person or online.

Group EMDR protocols (including G-TEP variants) are feasible and acceptable for online delivery, maintaining symptom reduction patterns in small groups.

Brief, structured, and tolerable.

Both methods are time-efficient compared to many standard trauma therapies; ART in particular resolves core symptoms in a handful of sessions; G-TEP is delivered in structured group blocks with precise closure and follow-up.

Benefits for Leaders & Organizations: G-TEP & ART

Stabilize the force after critical incidents.

Deploying an early, evidence-based intervention (G-TEP) after shootings, fatalities, or disasters reduces post-trauma distress and helps prevent chronic PTSD, supporting readiness and safe return to duty.

Protect productivity and reduce lost time.

Treating trauma-related symptoms is linked with less absenteeism and presenteeism; across mental-health programs... improvements in symptoms translate to measurable productivity gains.

Positive ROI from mental-health investment.

Large-scale workforce data show favorable returns (lower medical costs and human-capital savings) when employees access effective behavioral-health care. While specific ROI varies by setting, recent cohort analyses indicate a net savings of every dollar invested.

Boost psychological safety and team performance.

When leaders visibly sponsor post-incident support and model trauma-informed behaviors, they foster psychological safety, a well-established driver of team learning, communication, and performance. Our delivery model partners with command/HR/EAP to reinforce that climate.

Flexible deployment at scale.

G-TEP’s group format (15–20 per cohort) and ART’s brief, high-completion protocol make it feasible to serve large organizations quickly, on-site or virtually, without overburdening operations.
